About Gregory H. Fisher, PA

St. Petersburg, Florida Probate Attorney

Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Gregory H. Fisher attended school in St. Petersburg, Florida, graduating from Boca Ciega High School in 1967. Mr. Fisher attended the University of South Florida and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. Stetson College of Law granted Mr. Fisher his Juris Doctorate in 1975.

Mr. Fisher served as an Assistant Public Defender in the Sixth Judicial Circuit for Florida. Although he no longer handles civil or criminal cases, those years of service provided Mr. Fisher with extensive trial experience and still provides him with a thorough understanding of the criminal justice system and the civil courts. He began the private practice of law by opening his own office in 1978. Since then he has continued to maintain a personalized relationship with his clients, assisting them in a wide range of legal matters. Now, Mr Fisher specializes in the areas of Probate, Guardianship, Estate Planning, Real Estate, Small Business and Corporate Law.

During his years of practice and as a part of his on-going community service, Mr. Fisher has taught classes at St. Petersburg Junior College (n/k/a St. Petersburg College,) volunteered as a Guardian ad litem to act as the voice for abused and neglected children who are thrust into the court system, and has served as a hearing officer in the Juvenile Alternative Diversion Program handling the disposition of cases for first time youthful offenders.

With his extensive involvement in the local arts community, Mr. Fisher has assisted dozens of art’s organizations in becoming non-profit corporations. He has served as the chairman of the Pinellas County Arts Council, chairman of St. Petersburg First Night, chairman of the St. Petersburg Arts Advisory Committee, Performing Arts Chairman of Mainsail Arts Festival and chairman of the St. Petersburg Public Arts Commission and served on the Pinellas County Public Art and Design Committee.
