
After
graduating from Stetson University College of Law, Mr. Fisher served
three years as an Assistant Public Defender for the Sixth Judicial
Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida. He began the private practice
of law by opening his own office in 1978. Since then he has continued
to maintain a personalized relationship with his clients, assisting
them in a wide range of legal matters. Over the years he began concentrating
in the areas of wills, trusts, probate, estate planning, guardianships
and real property matters. Mr. Fisher also represents a number of
businesses and small corporations.
Mr.
Fisher has taught classes at St. Petersburg Junior College, Understanding
Florida Law, and has presented many seminars on wills, trusts and
estate planning. He is currently writing his first non-fiction book
entitled, Legal Life Strategies.
With
his extensive involvement in the local arts community, Mr. Fisher
has assisted dozens of arts organization in becoming non-profit corporations.
He has served as the chairman of the Pinellas County Arts Council,
chairman of St. Petersburg First Night, chairman of the St. Petersburg
Arts Advisory Committee, Performing Arts Chairman of Mainsail Arts
Festival and currently serves as the chairman of the St. Petersburg
Public Arts Commission.
